Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox, Puddles Pity Party
Puddles the Clown has been on my radar ever since I witnessed a gig by his band, Greasepaint, around the turn-of-the-century. Since then, Puddles has been involved in different off-the-radar projects, but his latest — Puddles Pity Party — has garnered plenty of attention. Check out his cover of Lorde’s “Royals” on YouTube — 11 million views can’t be wrong. The sad clown is sure to conjure up emotions — while also creating a somewhat uncomfortable scene. (Jeff Hahne)
