Social Fabric, an exhibit by Margi Weir Image

When: Thu., April 18, 6 p.m. 2013
Phone: 803-328-2787
Price: Free
Social Fabric presents two different, but related bodies of work, both involving Margi Weir's engagement with the world around her. In each body of work, Weir begins with "snap lines," creating a record of the violent impact of paint against the canvas, a reverberation with an overspray that lends a softness to the line quality; her snap lines leave behind something beautiful on the surface, with an underlying violence, a dark side. Exhibit Dates: March 22-April 28, 2013 FREE, Public Reception: Thursday, April 18, 2013 | 6 PM
