Song and Laugh Show

Wednesday, August 15

Think song titles like "Church League Softball Fist Fight" and "First Baptist Bar and Grill" sound funny to you? The words in the songs written by comedian Tim Wilson are even funnier. Tim's the co-writer of Jeff Foxworthy's "The Twelve Redneck Days of Christmas," a former guest on Jay Leno and the "John Boy and Billy Show," and he's coming soon to make the people of Charlotte laugh with his hilarity sung with a southern accent. 8 p.m. $25. McGlohon Theatre, Spirit Square, 345 N. Tryon St. 704-372-1000. www.blumenthalcenter.org/events.
