The Central Piedmont Community College, Small Business Center is back for another term teaching Soup to Nuts Strategy for Starting a Successful Food Business; a fascinating course about cottage food operations. Offered only twice a year, in April and June, the course benefits anyone interested in selling homemade specialty food products to the consumer.
It’s no surprise that sales for specialty food products have increased over 18% in the last three years as more consumers seek out the quality and taste of artisan products. Creative food crafters can now take advantage of this growing market.
