Community discussion about what’s coming up out of the ground in South End. Guest speakers will discuss sustainable building practices and growing grassroots movements, including urban gardening and composting. Featuring Jenny Vallimont (director of Stewardship & Innovation at Crescent Communities), Thom Duncan (program director of Friendship Gardens) and Kris Steele (owner of Crown Town Compost). Doors open at 6 p.m. and include complimentary food and drink from Friendship Trays, Inc.
