Hey you! Yeah, you — the ones who had a hard time putting E.L. James' 2011 erotic romance Fifty Shades of Grey down because you couldn't get enough of the intellectual conversations between Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey. (Just kidding!) If you were a fan of the series, you’re going to enjoy the musical spoof Spank! The Fifty Shades Parody, coming to McGlohon Theater this week. But before you go thinking this is just a rendition of the books, you should know that it's total satire, with a three-person cast of performers and trained improvisers who've twisted the sexiness of the plot into utter silliness. Don't worry, it's still dirty (and recommended for mature audiences only) and bound to make you laugh a little the next time you brush your teeth.
