SPECIAL EVENT: Heroes Convention

Comic book fans can jump for joy, as the Heroes Convention is set to go down this weekend at the Charlotte Convention Center. The event draws fans, exhibitors, comic creators, authors and publishers. Authors attending this year include Brian Michael Bendis (Secret Invasion, New Avengers, Ultimate Spider-Man, Powers, Mighty Avengers), Ed Brubaker (Uncanny X-Men, Criminal, Captain America, Daredevil, Iron Fist), Nick Cardy (Aquaman, Teen Titans, Bat Lash, Fight Comics, Jungle Comics), George Perez (Avengers, Fantastic Four, JLA, Crisis on Infinite Earths, Wonder Woman), and many more.
