The event will also feature displays and entertainment, including a fashion show, choir performances and more. Continues through Nov. 22. $8-$9; $3 for children 6-12 years old; Free for children under 6 years old with a paying adult. Nov. 11-14, 10 a.m.-9 p.m.; Nov. 15-17, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; Nov. 18-21, 10 a.m.-9 p.m.; Nov. 22, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. The Park, 2500 E. Independence Blvd.

  • On Saturday, Oct. 21, hundreds gathered at Camp North End on Statesville Avenue for Charlotte's first black alternative music festival. We captured some of the bands in action on stage, but mostly we surveyed the grounds as fans, families, vendors and more lounged around the sprawling, colorful Camp North End site. It was a great day of music, food, fun, and sweet, autumn sunshine. (Photos by Mark Kemp)
