Cancer The Crab: (June 21 -- July 21)

Venus enters your sign this week and will be traveling "with you" through July 11. Often when Venus is prominent we become more interested in art forms. She has the power to turn introverts into extroverts for the short period of her journey. We have a greater need and desire to be with others, or they with us.

For All Signs: In December of '07 we began two years of highly critical equinoxes and solstices. On June 20 at 7:59 p.m. is the summer solstice, one of four of these major dates. The news two weeks before and after the solstice is likely to be dramatic. We will hear of attacks and dirty tricks, along with broken promises in world news. If you steer clear of the fray and don't allow the intensity to threaten your ego you will fare far better than most.

Aries: You may be feeling hurt and disappointed over a situation with a loved one. People just don't always respond to us as we wish. Sometimes they are distracted by life situations of their own and are unable to appreciate what we offer. If a beloved seems oblivious, don't take it personally.

Taurus: Relationships may feel intense and complicated at this time. You may sense some negative force at work. If this is so, look deeply inside yourself for a hidden motive. If this does not exist, then ask your partner whether he/she notices any discomfort.

Gemini: This is a good time to take an overview of your most important relationships. If there are hard feelings, study yourself first. Determine whether any harbored anger is causing you to sabotage the connection.

Leo: It is possible that someone who perceives you as a threat may challenge you to a metaphorical duel. Remain poised and sidestep the defensive position for best results. If you are feeling short-tempered, work alone for best results.

Virgo: This is a week filled with changes in direction because Mercury, your planetary ruler, is now going direct. You may no sooner decide on one thing than you switch to another. Be aware you are trying on answers, just as one tries on clothes.

Libra: Changes may be occurring in your primary relationship. One or the other of you is probably trying to hang onto what is familiar. Growth must be allowed to happen or the relationship will become stale. Let things flow naturally to a new form.

Scorpio: There is an issue of control that threatens to split one or more of your relationships. You or your partner may be attempting to get what you want through manipulation. Don't pursue this and don't let someone do it to you. Become the Eagle (which means: take the high road.)

Sagittarius: Old relationship issues may surface now for one more airing. Do your best to generate a win-win situation from any potential duel, and avoid a frank battle of wills. You probably have the clout, but running over a competitor does not win much worth having.

Capricorn: Social and romantic life is favored this week, particularly over the weekend. You may be mixing business and pleasure in a pleasant combination. This is a good time to discuss issues within a relationship because you are steady of mind and likely to be realistic, in relation to yourself as well as others.

Aquarius: Circumstances continue to be a bit touchy with your significant other. However, this week Mercury will turn direct and we will all be less likely to fall into outworn habits. Complications arise for those with children, but the dust will settle quickly.

Pisces: The Critic is overly noisy this week. The message may come from your own mind or from the blame of someone else. You are in a low cycle and any type of unpleasant event may worry you more than norm. The Internal Critic always exaggerates way out of proportion.
