April 3-April 9, 2003

For All Signs
Jupiter turns direct on April 3 after a four month period of retrogradation. He is known as Zeus to the ancients, father figure to the others, and his better side symbolizes human expansiveness and spiritual wisdom. His negative qualities are ostentation, pomposity and expansion without discipline or roots. During his retrograde periods, promises and expectations are often too optimistic and fall short of the mark. When he is direct, as he will be through next December, projected hopes are more likely to come to fruition.

Any uncomfortable episode with an authority figure may carry your mind back to hard experiences of the past. Focus on the present moment in the interaction. Later in the week aspects are favorable for travel, the law, publishing, and dealing with those at a distance.

Mercury travels rapidly through your sign between March 29 and April 12. During this period there likely will be greater emphasis on communications, errands, and other short distance travels. A new opportunity comes your way to learn about the world of high tech.

You have the opportunity to assist in the birth of a fresh idea, plan, or piece of equipment at your place of business. Your role will be as a background supporter for the time being. On a personal level, you may be ruminating about the past.

You are heading down a path of completion on a project you have labored over for a very long time. You will see a significant shift in the summer, possibly as early as June. This week you have some time to focus intently on a rare occurrence, your own agendas.

Notice the lead paragraph because it particularly relates to the Lions right now. Don't let an employee or a coworker get under your skin. Later in the week you have favorable aspects for travel, love life, legal affairs, and publishing.

Surprising new things are beginning to look possible for your spouse or significant other. This week brings news concerning an educational opportunity that involves travel. Don't hesitate to respond affirmatively because this trip will bring significant new people and insight into your life.

You have no new aspects this week, so it is probable that nothing beyond the ordinary will happen. Considering the wild pace of the last two weeks, this is probably good news. Next week's energies pick up again.

Pay attention to your thought processes this week. You may be prone to get your mind stuck on a particular thing and drive yourself and everyone else crazy with it. Work and career aspects are strong and money improves.

Your overall good fortune of the last week or two is still with you. Aspects continue to be favorable for love life, creativity, and business with banks or other monetary authorities. Give attention to the lead paragraph, Archers. Jupiter is your planetary ruler.

You have no fresh aspects at this time, so the usual routine will probably prevail. You are, however, chipping away at a challenging project in an ongoing way. This week and next may lead you to think you are stalled out, but just wait for a time.

Some of the pressure you've felt for a long time has been relieved this spring. You are now looking around at your habitat and thinking this would be a good time to clean out, fix up, and make improvements. Aspects favor love and social life.

Early in the week you will have adjustments to make on behalf of a coworker or in your daily routine. You have favorable aspects for education, short distance travel, exploration of new territory, and making new friends, perhaps in your own neighborhood.
