You may be feeling past losses this holiday season. That could be concerning a person, an investment, the loss of a pet or a an issue about your health. The lens through which you see is probably grayer than it needs to be. Seek consolation from a loved one.

For All Signs Direct translations of the gospel of Matthew identify the "Three Wise Men" as astrologers. Though the story of the astrologers' literal visit to Bethlehem is probably mythic, it is certain that the educated priest/astrologers of the time were predicting a very important birth. Percy Seymour, physicist-astronomer of Great Britain, offers a postulate that the Jupiter/Saturn conjunction of September 7 in the year 7 BC was the birthdate of Jesus in his book Astrology: The Evidence of Science (1988). During that year there was a rare and politically important triple conjunction of these two planets in the sign of Pisces, the Fish. The middle conjunction of September 7 occurred in the sign of Virgo (the Virgin), and thus it could be said that Jesus was born of a Virgin. Biblical realists will not appreciate this interpretation of the story, but it is a sound premise if one considers that astrology was accepted by most people in the era as common wisdom. Aries Be very good to yourself this week. Your reflexes are not so great and you are subject to accidents. You may be angry because you feel "forced" to "suck it up." Try to let it go for now. Your turn will come.

Taurus Your ruling planet has just turned retrograde, which suggests you are feeling the need to back off from a relationship or a promise that was previously made. Something inside is causing you to "choke" and want to sit on the sidelines. Follow your instincts.

Gemini This is a favorable time in your intimate world. You have the opportunity to rethink old and painful experiences, in light of new information. Healing may occur. The relationship that needs healing may not be a person, but more spiritual.

Cancer The new moon will occur on Dec. 30 this month. No other aspects particularly pertain to the Moon Children. The result is that you will have a quiet and probably highly restful week. Don't stir up activity just because you think you "should."

Leo A project that began in summer '04 is at fruition. It represents an incredible amount of work and could be likened to the building of the pyramids. This monument represents your new condition of self-definition. You may judge it to be worth less than the effort you expended, but you had no other choice at the time.

Virgo This will be a good holiday week. Your arrangements will flow pretty much as you planned. Make some time for yourself to dream, to drift, to read romantic novels or to watch old and precious movies. You gain special pleasure from music and the arts in any form.

Libra If you let yourself slide into a retroactive trance, this holiday time could become emotionally painful. If you feel sorry for yourself, take a look around you and find someone else who needs a lot of help. You will feel altogether differently about things.

Scorpio Do not challenge the Powers that Be in your life, whether that be parents, police, or the corporate structure. Although it seems to you that people are being unkind, don't expect fair play at this time. Support your partner in whatever ways you can.

Sagittarius Short distance travel is favored. Difficulties may arise through the use of tools or mechanical agents, such as vehicles. You are tempted to force things to go as you think is best, but this will create trouble. Sidestep the tendency to use power to manipulate others.

Aquarius This holiday week for you is about healing on every level. If you need physical healing, then find it. If you need emotional healing, search out the one who knows you well and can help your feelings mend. Normally extroverted, this winter is for you a more introspective, quiet time.

Pisces It is almost amusing to say, but during this season it is recommended by the cosmos that you actually plan some downtime. You have been roaring like a house afire and the body needs some recoup time. Enjoy a blissful couple of days over the weekend.
