Have you ever wondered what life was like for enslaved people? Enter to win an exclusive overnight experience in a representative slave cabin at The President James K. Polk State Historic Site in Pineville, NC. Participate in a family-style dinner with small group conversations on U.S. Slavery and the American experience at Stories Untold: A Communal Dinner​. Participants will be entered into a raffle for the overnight experience with winners chosen at random.The evening will feature Mr. Joseph McGill, Founder and Executive Director of the Slave Dwelling Project, as the keynote speaker.
