Get your two-step ready to party like it's 1986 again as Cameo hits Charlotte with their unique mix of electric funk and flair that started in the 70s, blossomed in the 80s and influenced artist in the '90's. Angela Winbush and R&B group Loose Ends round out this Summer Soul Music Festival that includes the best old school playing in between acts and Soul Food Row dishing out your down home favorites. 3 p.m. $35 ADV/$45.   • On Saturday, Oct. 21, hundreds gathered at Camp North End on Statesville Avenue for Charlotte's first black alternative music festival. We captured some of the bands in action on stage, but mostly we surveyed the grounds as fans, families, vendors and more lounged around the sprawling, colorful Camp North End site.
