T BIRD AND THE BREAKS
T Bird and The Breaks should be added to that growing list of modern bands who are fueled by retro influences while creating a sound all their own — think St. Paul and the Broken Bones, Jessica Hernandez and the Deltas, J Roddy Walston and the Business, etc. The Breaks take a strong rock ’n’ soul root with plenty of funk (and even some hip-hop) thrown in.
