Bizarre crimes from Charlotte police files

THE BULLY: A 19-year-old woman said a man who's been bullying her came to her job and threatened to do bodily harm to her. She believes he will carry out the threat due to his size, demeanor and pattern of harassing her at school and at her job for three years.

RANDOM ACTS OF VIOLENCE: A 38-year-old man was assaulted at Urban Ministry Center by a man he didn't know. He said the man punched him in the face and threw him on the ground.

EVERYTHING BUT THE KITCHEN SINK: The manager of Wingate Place Apartments said a tenant moved out in the middle of the night without giving any notice, taking the stove and refrigerator with him.

JEALOUS FIT: A 20-year-old woman was in her boyfriend's car when he discovered another man left a message on her cell phone. He became upset at the idea of another man trying to "get at" his lad. So he grabbed her by the neck, took a shoe and hit her on the hand before kicking her out of his car.

UNRULY SUSPECT: A 27-year-old police officer said he was assaulted by a female suspect. He said she kicked him in the forehead, spit on him and said she would "put two bullets" in his head.

THREAT OF THE WEEK PT. 1: A 42-year-old man said an acquaintance left a very disturbing message on his answering machine: "I will take you out and leave you on the side of the road bleeding."

THREAT OF THE WEEK PT. 2: A woman said a former friend called her and threatened to shoot her family and damage her elderly mother's vehicle. To prove that she was serious about the threat, the woman's ex-friend came to her home and punctured a tire on her Toyota Corolla.
