The Main Library's Winter Film Series

The Main Library's latest Winter Film Series will begin tonight in the Wachovia Theater at ImaginOn. This latest batch of classic films centers on breakthrough efforts by world-famous directors. Kicking off the series this evening is François Truffaut's 1959 classic, The 400 Blows. The remainder of the schedule consists of Ridley Scott's The Duellists (Feb. 5), Steven Spielberg's The Sugarland Express (Feb. 26), Billy Wilder's Double Indemnity (March 5) and Woody Allen's Take the Money and Run (March 19). All films will be screened at 7 p.m.; admission is free. For more info, call 704-336-6217
