For more than four decades, the Double Door Inn has provided a home for countless touring acts. If those walls could talk, they’d not only share stories about Stevie Ray Vaughn and Eric Clapton, but tales of Charles Hairston, Nappy Brown, The Spongetones and countless local legends who made a name for themselves between those wooden walls. The Allstars are the perfect closer for the venue’s final night. The Charlotte music scene will never be the same again.
