The Original Odyssey by Romare Bearden CL Recommends

When: April 13-30 2012
Charlotteans have a thing about claiming Romare Bearden as one of their own. Even though Bearden moved to New York when he was just a wee toddler and stayed up north until his death, he was born in Charlotte. The newest exhibit at Central Piedmont Community College features original works — including watercolor paintings, drawings and selections from his diaries (forget privacy!) — by the talented artist.
