The Urban Death Project - Compost Your Corpse

Join Central Piedmont Group of Sierra Club to learn about the Urban Death Project. Graduate students from the Forensic Osteology Research Station in the departments of Anthropology and Sociology at Western Carolina University will be our guests. They will discuss and give an overview of Green Burials and an update on the high environmental costs associated with traditional forms of post-death treatment in the US. Come for pizza at 6:30, the program begins at 7.
