Just in time for the holidays, Carolina Actors Studio Theatre presents a comedic production about the merriment of seasonal disasters via A Tuna Christmas. The play chronicles a series of unfortunate events for a group of Texans from the small city of Tuna. (Sounds fishy, huh?) Actors Tom Olson (in his third year running) and Colby Davis (one half of Charlotte's Mitosis Improv Group) are local radio broadcasters in the show, portraying 22 characters (guys and gals) who are affected by the vandalism of a neighborhood holiday yard-decorating contest, a mysterious phantom and aliens. Whaaat? Yeah, it might be hard to swallow, but it'll probably make you laugh. 3 p.m. $20-$22. McGlohon Theatre, 345 N. College St. 704-372-1000. www.nccast.com.
