THEATER: A Year With Frog and Toad

Thursday, July 1

Though it's better geared toward children, CPCC's Summer Theatre's performances of A Year With Frog and Toad can strike a chord with folks all over the map -- whether you remember Arthur Lobel's popular Frog and Toad books from a childhood storytime or from a more recent reading to a wee one. The cutesy tale of two bff's and their hoppy adventures together within a one year time span is told in a nutshell of about 60 minutes. That leaves plenty of time for a nap afterward. $7-$10. July 1-3, 10 a.m.; July 5-10, 10 a.m. $7-$10. CPCC's Halton Theater, 1201 Elizabeth Ave. 704-330-6534. http://arts.cpcc.edu/performing-arts/summer-theatre/shows.
