Elton John just visited Charlotte and now here comes AIDA, the Broadway play he composed the music for, alongside of Tim Rice, who wrote up the lyrics. The musical tells the story of a love triangle, between characters Aida (a Nubian princess), Radames (the leader of the Egyptian army, which captures Aida) and Princess Amneris (the daughter of a dying Pharaoh).
