Cabaret's drama, music, glam and showbiz glitz are only part of the reason Central Piedmont Community College has us screaming "Wilkommen." Set in Berlin during the early 1900s, the musical captures the dreamy desires of an aspiring writer and his show girl who take to the stage despite the obstacles (including those early-brewing Nazi notions) around them.
