THEATER: CPCC presents Love Letters

Sunday, May 10

It's your last chance to check out performances of Central Piedmont Community College's production of A.R. Gurney's Love Letters. Though it doesn't sound like much action will go down -- for most of the performance, the show's cast will sit behind desks reading letters -- it does sound like it might stand up to par as a touching take to the stage, as it follows the letters exchanged over a lifetime between two people who grew up together, went their seperate ways, but still managed to correspond and confide in each other. $16. May 10, 2:30 p.m. Pease Auditorium at CPCC. 1206 Elizabeth Ave. 704-330-6534 or 704-372-1000. http://arts.cpcc.edu/performing-arts/theatre/shows/07-08-season/ or www.carolinatix.org.
