Nobody does tragedies quite like Mista William Shakespeare. After all, if they did, we wouldn't be clinging to his plays, which have survived decades of criticism, popularity and transformations into film and other creative outlets. Every summer, Charlotte gets its fix from The Charlotte Shakespeare Festival, presented by Collaborative Arts. Look for performances of the classic King Lear at McGlohon Theatre.
