Having seen a past performance of the funny and suspenseful production Shear Madness, I can tell you firsthand to go see it. The show -- which features some very interesting and just plain-out goofy characters -- revolves around a mysterious murder occurring in an apartment above the Shear Madness Salon. And best of all, it's an interactive show -- so, you and the audience decide who-dun-it. Shear Madness kicked off on April 9, but shows will go down at Blumenthal Performing Arts Center's newest venue Stage Door Theater through June 6. That gives you more than enough time to check it out. $29.50-$34.50. 7:30 p.m. Stage Door Theater, North College Street at 5th Street. 704-372-1000. www.blumenthalcenter.org.
