PePeRo Oriental Foods. It's the closest Korean grocery store to my apartment, and they have a small restaurant in the back. Whenever I can't go home for a Korean food fix (or miss the gentle lull of a language I can barely speak), all I have to do is drive five minutes down the street. (10920 Monroe Road)

During the summer, Carowinds is the place to be. I love taking a trip out to the park with my girlfriends and just making a day of it. The attractions are great, the junkfood is yummy and the sunny atmosphere makes everything all the more fun. Carowinds is just a huge playground that I never grow too tired of visiting.
