WINTER FILM SERIES This latest batch of classic films centers on breakthrough efforts by world-famous directors. The remainder of the schedule consists of Steven Spielberg's The Sugarland Express (Feb. 26), Billy Wilder's Double Indemnity (March 5) and Woody Allen's Take the Money and Run (March 19).   • On Saturday, Oct. 21, hundreds gathered at Camp North End on Statesville Avenue for Charlotte's first black alternative music festival. We captured some of the bands in action on stage, but mostly we surveyed the grounds as fans, families, vendors and more lounged around the sprawling, colorful Camp North End site.
