Tom Arnold returns to his first love, stand-up, during upcoming gigs at The Comedy Zone. With secondary roles in more than 60 movies, including 2012’s Hit and Run, he’s made a name for himself on the big screen — yet, to his dismay, that name may be forever shadowed by one person: Roseanne Barr. The former wife of Arnold, Barr helped put his name on the map when she welcomed him on her sitcom success, Roseanne, back in the late ’80s. But even after the split, Arnold has remained on the celebrity front. Though he’s been known to mention his ex at stand-up gigs, he doesn’t focus too much on her or their past together. Instead, he speaks from everyday experiences, most of which are pretty funny, too.
