Back in the '90s, Tommy Davidson was a part of Keenen and Damon Wayans' TV magic, In Living Color. On that sketch comedy show, he played a variety of roles, honing his versatility in shifting attitudes, facial expressions and overall personas for the job. With the show's halt in 1994, he returned to his first love, stand-up, with upcoming performances taking place right here in the Q.C. at The Comedy Zone Charlotte. Davidson β who went on to co-star in films and TV shows like Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, The Proud Family, Woo, Juwanna Man, and, more recently, nouveaux blaxploitation comedy Black Dynamite β remains a creature of talent. Despite such a span having passed from the time of his television career, heβs still a guy we trust to disguise himself as colorful characters, brought to life by hilariously animated expressions and vocal contortions.
