Tresses & Threads Hair and Fashion Show
This affair is about more than just fashion. The event, presented by Alesia Thomas Foundation, is geared toward helping folks who have lost their hair due to illnesses. Stylists will be on hand to showcase new hair trends and designers from local boutiques will unveil new fashions that will be modeled on a runway. The survivors catwalk will feature women with and without hair. Bianca Golden (a former America’s Next Top Model contestant and Project Runway star) co-hosts and stars in the event. There will also be live performances by local artists and vendors from local businesses. Proceeds for the event will help with the production of wigs made of human hair and head accessories.
