The Catawba Valley Community College Potters’ Workshop lecture series, “Turning with Tradition: Keeping the NC Pottery Tradition alive through Contemporary Works,” concludes with American studio potter and Seagrove native, Ben Owen III. Owen will speak on Thursday evening, March 19. He will discuss how he merges tradition and vision in his work, as he honors the historic Owen aesthetic while creating a new, unique body of work.
