Extraordinary jazz pianist, Cyrus Chestnut, and the GRAMMY® award-winning Turtle Island Quartet are back together, displaying their formidable collective virtuosity. With their brand new program, Jelly, Rags & Monk, the quintet draws a blazing and virtuosic line from the early roots of jazz (Jelly Roll Morton) directly to Thelonious Monk, one of the geniuses of the modern jazz era. This concert is the 1st in a series from Charlotte Concerts. Season tickets are available at the CPCC Box office. Individual concert tickets on sale after September 1.
