Viva La Bicycle Parade + Progressive Food Party
Riding bikes, sharing stories, and tasting recipeswith McColl Center's Knight Artist-in-Residence, Robert Karimi. Karimi will lead a lively event filled with high-energy activities at the 7th Street Public Market using performance, humor, and interaction to promote healthy eating and wellness. Throughout the event, participants will taste healthy food samples and enjoy performances by Karimi and local middle school students about how to get kids and their parents eating nourishing foods and well-balanced meals. In the grand finale, Karimi will take out his Low Rider Kitchen Cart Bicycle and lead all gathered in a bicycle parade around Uptown Charlotte and finish with a celebration back at 7th Street Public Market.
