Walk Your Neighborhood
Sustain Charlotte's Transportation Choices Alliance, OrthoCarolina and #thesavageway are piloting a project called Walk Your Neighborhood to promote walking as a form of transportation. This kick-off event encourages participants to walk from their residence to the Pizza Peel on Central Avenue. Here, Sustain Charlotte will have a table for residents to check-in, log their miles, and receive a wristband that qualifies for several discounts at surrounding restaurants and shops (see facebook.com/SustainCharlotte for complete list of business participation).
