The Davidson Farmer’s Market will host their first ever Seed Spitting Contest. Market shoppers young and old may compete by launching watermelon seeds from their mouths for the furthest distance. And Market vendors will have an opportunity to compete against each other in their very own category. Buy your watermelon slice for $1; find the perfect spitting seed, step on up and let it rip!
Volunteer judges will take special care in measuring each contestant’s seed-spitting distance. There will be categories for contestants young and old. Each category will be awarded 1st and 2nd place prizes!
