What's new on the Web site?

Does the online music section look a little different to you?

We're rounding up some of the biggest headlines of the day in the world of music and giving you a central location to find them. There's a twitter feed where you can catch up with some of the news or post your own (#charlottemusic). You can find out information about all of the music writers through the "Contributors" section. Streaming audio of recent appearances on 91.7 FM are also there along with audio of the Homebrew CDs.

You may have also noticed that Brittney Cason's nightlife column, QC After Dark, hasn't been in the paper much recently. That's because she has a new home -- online. Head on over to to catch up with some of her recent experiences around the city.

We're also on the hunt for a few interested contributors who would like to share their thoughts about music.

Maybe you're a musician out on tour or just a fan looking to share thoughts. If you think you may like to write once a week or so, simply for the love of music (this ain't a get-rich-quick scheme), let us know by e-mailing
