Woman on fire

Sunday, March 25

Ok, let's say you were just hanging out with your girls spittin' a few rhymes. Then, all of a sudden, you're being tied to a stake and burned alive for practicing witchcraft. Fortunately, this could never happen during the 21st century, unless of course, you want to call the Iraq war a modern-day witch hunt. However, it is the story of Abigail Williams in Arthur Miller's masterpiece, The Crucible. Theatre Charlotte's production of Abby's case of a woman scorned becoming a woman scorched began last Thursday and ends tonight. Performance is at 2:30 p.m. Tickets range from $10/students - $20/adults. Call Carolina Tix at 704-372-1000 or visit them online at www.carolinatix.org.
