Drivers start your Zucchinis! It’s not the normal command to begin a race, but that will be the case on Saturday, May 5 in downtown Kannapolis when the second annual Zucchini 600 rolls off. With a lot of ingenuity and imagination, youngsters construct workable, rolling vehicles out of zucchini for a matchup of Cabarrus County’s young racing talent. Join us in the Kids’ Zone at Jiggy with the Piggy starting at 10 a.m. Races begin at noon.
