Re: “200 Hours YTTC

Meera's yoga teachings come from their heart, knowledge and experience. Her yoga nidra session was very intense but she was always there to support me during the journey of my previous life. She is highly qualified and mixes a wide range of techniques from different counselling methods for her sessions . It has been inspiring to have her as a teacher and I hope to meet her again in the future to be able to learn more from her. Thank you so much.

Re: “Elvis Costello & The Imposters

Elvis can still rock and play his guitar. The band was tight and his voice got better over the evening. He had good dialogue with the audience and played strong for over two hours. He left the stage briefly to change hats but played about 6 different guitars throughout the night. Piano player was very strong as was the drummer. The opening act was very very good.. Imelda May has great range and has a sultry voice and a tight band supporting her. So surprised she is not more popular in the US. She engaged the crowd in a nice way and should have played longer.

Re: “4x4CLT Release Party

This was absolutely supposed to make clear that we were just kidding and wish her the best, and must have gotten taken out in editing or something at some point. Absolutely no disrespect to Kate, and please let us know any other showings you have in town in the future so we can plug those, too. I'm removing the failed joke from the above entry before we plug it on Twitter later. My apologies.

Re: “4x4CLT Release Party

Why would the author of this resort to some "call out" of an artist? Or anyone? Do YOU know the ins and outs of someone else's life? I get this is CL, but that's low even by your standards. Graduate high school much?

Re: “4x4CLT Release Party

Poetry isn't dead, and neither is the importance of family. Unfortunately, due to a conflict with a pre-planned family vacation, I'm not able to attend. No slighting of any of the wonderful and talented people involved that will be there, and I am truly sorry I'll miss it, but this is something I cannot change. I'm not sure if your question was legitimate or meant to be snarky, but frankly, either way the answer sadly is "Yes".

Re: “Circle K Speed Street Presented by Coca-Cola

I think it's losing some of it's community appeal when you start charging for the entertainment! You garner so much positive publicity for your acts or whatever your selling in the way it was, but your approaching a disconnect with the community when you begin taking their money at every turn. Think about it!

Re: “Crust and Jam Grand Opening

Excellent location and Great Pizza... and craft beer on tap! A great place on Main Street USA to enjoy the evening and hang out with the locals. Especially after the Friday night Cruise in with classic cars and the weekend Monroe Summer concerts. You will LOVE it!

Re: “Hedwig and the Angry Inch

Great play and show. Saw it on Tuesday. A lot of fun, great rock and roll music and a very interesting story to go with it. Euan Morton was great in the part of Hedwig and after meeting him afterwards, a gracious performer. Saw the play in NYC back in 2014 and it was just good in Charlotte. Going back to see it again on Thursday.

Re: “Digital Noir f. Michael Price and DJ Spider

One of the best parties in Charlotte, hands down. Spider and Price are the perfect mix of all flavors of dark music!

Re: “Dweezil Zappa Guitar Masterclass

Looking forward to Dweezil. If you haven't checked it out, Shampoohorn is a very well done album of twisted guitar and solid songwriting and vocals provided by Ahmet. It's circa 1992 or so I believe but a nice effort by talented, tight playing musicians.
