I've told all my co-workers this, so I must share with you.
The Wallflower brand jeans I'm wearing today only cost me $10 (regular price $44), and they were found at Belk Southpark in the Juniors section.
The rack was pretty full on Sunday, but I'm sure that won't last long. If you're looking for some good-fitting jeans at a cheap price (because it's just too hot outside to be spending a lot of money on pants right now), go here.
Bonus: "Your butt looks great in those jeans," said one female co-worker.

Today I felt like channeling the girl in the movie Flash Dance so I put my short shorts on and leg warmers.
Last week's cover story penned by yours truly! profiled people in the Charlotte area whose rental homes are decorated funky, fresh and eclectic. (Yes, I know I'm late posting this.)
For example, Kymm Mclean's home is full of color, with yellow-painted walls of the reading room with Christmas balls hanging from the ceiling. Scooter Arnold's mother-in-law suite, small but quaint, is reminiscent of the 1950s, and his collection of Marilyn Monroe memorabilia hardly overwhelms at all.
And fashion designer Lore Emelio's small house in Dilworth doubles as her studio, where she designs her hats, bow ties and other accessories from her line.
In fact, when we went to check out her place, fabric was hanging against a wall that would be utilized for her fall collection. But I can't say any more about that. (Here's a shot of her front showroom, which used to be her living room. Photography by Ashley Goodwin.)
So you should definitely check out this story here. And not only because I wrote it although that is a pretty big deal, if you ask me but also because you may garner some ideas to decorate your own place. After all, just because you rent doesn't mean your home can't be fabulous.
The owners of Revolution already have a great thing going for them that sets them apart from their competitors they're one of the very few retailers in Uptown, and one of two clothing shops in the EpiCentre (the other is Belle Ville).
But have you heard about their piercing spa, located in the "Confession" area? (Incidentally, I just don't feel like the words "piercing" and "spa" go together, but I'm scared of needles so maybe you should just ignore me.)
So, what's the appeal in having a piercing spa in the EpiCentre? Well, I suppose if you feel like your clubbing outfit won't be complete without a belly button piercing, you could stop by Revolution and get a quick hole, grab dinner at Enso and by the time you're in line for Suite, the blood will be dried up.
Last night my boyfriend mentioned to me that he wanted to start his Christmas shopping this week.
Christmas shopping? Excuse me, but Christmas shopping should be reserved for December, when it's freezing outside and the stores are crowded with people who bang their bags into you without apology.
OK, maybe I'm not helping my case. Either way, Christmas shopping in July just feels wrong to me, however economical it may be. I'm thinking about back-to-school shopping and summer sales right now, NOT what I'm going to put under the tree for my dad in December. I like to put off stress as long as possible.
But Toys 'R' Us and my boyfriend seem to be on the same wavelength, as the retailer has relaunched its "Christmas in July" sales event.
With only 164 shopping days left for Christmas and the back-to-school season almost around the corner, the toy retailer is resurrecting its Christmas in July sale, featuring discounts as steep as 50 percent on board games like Monopoly and Scrabble and items like Coby MP3 player. The operator of Toys R Us, Babies R Us and FAO Schwarz stores held its Christmas in July sales event for the first time last year after many U.S. retailers posted 10 straight months of sales declines during the worst of the recession. Even Sears held wintry holiday-themed events last summer ahead of their back-to-school promotions.
This year, the Toys R Us sales event runs from July 18 through July 24. It comes as it takes on industry goliaths like Wal-Mart Stores, Amazon.com and Target, also trying to woo the nations youth with the latest gadgets.

Another summer sale!
So, I'm sure you've heard that Consumer Reports did not give the Apple iPhone 4 its stamp of approval. But I can understand why left-handed users' natural tendencies block the antennae's reception. No stamps of approval for reception issues.
But today, Steve Jobs announced Apple would give away free cases to alleviate the issue.
Hmm. Is this enough to fix Apple's PR nightmare? Methinks not.
Shucks, I was waiting to get the new phone until after they had fixed the problem. Guess I'd be better to go ahead and buy it now so I can get my new ($39) case before the Sept. 30 deadline. Guess you folks who buy the phone after that will just have to suck it up.
