UNC student president found shot to death: Eve Marie Carson, 22, UNC-Chapel Hill student president and Morehead-Chain scholar was shot multiple times. It is thought to be in connection with a stolen vehicle. She was found dead at the intersection in the Hillcrest neighborhood early March 5. No arrests have been made.

Since the surge in the price of Berkshire Hathaway stock Warren Buffet now holds that title Buffet’s fortune is now $62 billion. Bill Gates ranks right after the $60 billion Mexican telecom tycoon Carlos Slim Helú. Gates is now worth $58 billion, just enough to stay in the top 3.

Southwest Airlines allowed to fly ‘unsafe’ planes for months: Passengers of Southwest Airlines have been flying on plane “not air worthy” according to the congressional air safety investigators. Documents submitted by FAA inspectors allege the airline flew at least 117 planes in violation of the mandatory safety checks. The planes flew for 30 months after the government inspection deadlines had passed.
