Sevendust performs with Taproot at Amos.


• The Second City releases their own concoction of comedy geared for the elections with Deface the Nation at Booth Playhouse.

• College night at Whisky River: Megan from Beauty and the Geek, Rock of Love 2 and I Love Money stops by.

• Check out the art exhibit Scene in America: A Contemporary Look at the Black Male Image at the Mint Museum of Art. Admission is free 5 p.m.-9 p.m.
