Ever wanted to quiz the experts? Now's your chance. The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission is hosting an open house tonight at 6 p.m.

The 28-year-old McGuire Nuclear Station, on Lake Norman, is home to much more than energy generation; it's also the location of the Energy Explorium and a long list of summertime activities. So, if you miss the fun tonight, know that you aren't missing your chance to check out what's happening.

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission will have an open house tonight in Huntersville, to discuss and answer questions about the commission's assessment of safety performance in 2008 at the McGuire nuclear power plant.

The open house will be from 6-8 p.m. at the McGuire plant's Office Complex Auditorium, 12700 Hagers Ferry Road.
