Some days you just can't take the silliness coming from the right wing too seriously. For this humble blogger, today is one of those days. Luckily, Conan O'Brien and William Shatner felt that way Monday. You probably saw, or read about, Sarah Palin's really bizarre farewell speech as she left the Alaska governor's office Sunday. It was a rare treat for those among us who love completely disjointed, word-salad incoherence from their politicians especially if the whole mess is delivered in a "soaring," pseudo-inspirational tone of voice. No joke, the woman has serious problems if that speech is any indication of how her mind works. If you missed the speech, you're in luck. NBC won't let us embed the video, but it's worth your while to follow this link to see William Shatner, on the Tonight Show, reciting a key part of Palin's farewell speech as the dysfunctional poetry it is.
