Opera Carolina's Otello

Opera Carolina’s latest performances of Otello — May 6 & 8 at Belk Theater — tell the tale of a man’s victory through war and his downfall through his own boiling rage of jealousy. Set in Cyprus during the 15th century, the tragic story of Otello — converted to opera form by Giuseppe Verdi — is based on Shakespeare’s masterpiece, Othello.
