Video Vandals: Video store employees called police after two suspicious-acting characters grabbed several DVDs and fled the store without paying for them. Police caught up with the video vandals in the parking lot, and discovered what they believe to be several other stolen movies in their car.
Middle School Mayhem: A middle school student caused quite a ruckus when he got into a disagreement with his teacher and started throwing his school supplies around the classroom. When school authorities arrived, the rambunctious scholar became even more irate and unruly, and police were summoned to the scene.
Graphic Graffiti: An elderly man called police after he discovered some unknown person(s) had spray-painted graffiti, including several obscenities, on his driveway and garage door.
Meow: An altercation occurred between two women at a neighborhood get-together. When one of the ladies showed up at the party on the arm of the desirable dude in question, another female partygoer apparently became incensed, and a nasty cat fight ensued. Both battling broads suffered minor scratches.
Smash and Grab: From the time it took a man to exit his parked car, go inside a convenience store and buy a few items, someone smashed out his vehicle’s passenger side window and stole several items, including a laptop computer and a cell phone.
Good Samaritan Robbed: While walking through his apartment complex, a man was approached by two other gents, who starting asking directions to a nearby mall. During the course of the seemingly innocuous conversation, one of the two men suddenly pulled out a knife, and demanded money. The victim tossed the two robbers his wallet and took off running.
Pennies From Heaven: A woman reported that while driving down the interstate, another car occupied by several young men pulled alongside her. Suddenly, one of the little delinquents in the back seat threw a roll of coins at the woman’s car, causing a minor dent and scratch.
Neighborhood Numbskulls: Two neighbors with a history of feuding got into it again when one took exception to the fact that the other was working on his car in the driveway late at night, and was reportedly making a racket. Words were exchanged, then fists, and both filed assault charges. The police have been called to intervene between these two not-so-neighborly neighbors at least twice before.
