Saturday is the first day of spring. Although my nose begins to suffer from the pollen, I’m so glad the warm weather has finally arrived. That night seems like such a great night to indulge in the festivities of Roc the Fashion 2010, a celebration of hair, fashion and music. Featured designers/guests include:

• Brian Davis, stylist, CharlotteStyle Magazine Nominee for Charlotte’s 25 Most Stylist People 2010

• Tara Davis of “Flow by Tara Davis”

• James Davis, Director, Memphis Fashion Week

• Ean Williams, Director, DC Fashion Week

• Sylvio Kovacic, Finalist, Bravo Television’s Project Runway, Featured Designer of the Latin Grammys.

• Luis Machicao, 2010 Featured Designer, New York Fashion Week

• Todd Albaum, Owner, Scarlett Boutique

• Alexandria Speer, Jewelry Artisan

• Kelvin Wright, Shoe Designer

Performing live will be Adina Howard, Lacee, Jus K, Beattie Grind, and others.

From the good folks at P3P Media Group:

The “Roc the Fashion 2010” affair will feature the latest in hair and fashion in the Metro Charlotte area.

In an effort to raise awareness of the vision, mission, and work of the National Kidney Foundation, and expressly drawing attention to Kidneys for Kids,” Roc the Fashion!” endeavors to host a couture fashion event like none seen in the area.

Drawing on the expertise of professionals in all facets of business, promotion, entertainment, fashion, public relations, and event planning “Roc the Fashion!” promises to be an event not soon forgotten.

On Saturday, upon arrival to the venue (Backstage, 8801 East WT Harris Blvd. Charlotte, NC), 2000 guests will be greeted with the luxury of a “Red Carpet” Entrance complete with photographers and valet service.

At the entrance guests will be met not only by charming hosts and hostesses but also by the exquisite décor of Serenity, a designer from the Charlotte Area whose interiors and event spaces have been featured on shows like Bravo TV’s “Platinum Weddings”.

A night of music, laughter, and mingling follows as guests are entertained by vocalists Adina Howard, Lacee, Jus K, and Beattie Grind.

The guests of “Roc the Fashion 2010” will also be favored with the fashion experience of the season as the latest in fashion is featured in the collections of Mr. Machicao, Mr. Davis, Mr. Williams, Mr. Kovacic, Ms. Davis, Mr. Albaum, Mr. Wright, and Ms. Speer.

A small number of select vendors will complete the guests’ experience.

P3P Media will express a parting expression of gratitude to its guests by providing gift bags of samples and other sponsor provided items as each guest leaves.

As part of the night’s attempt to increase awareness of the National Kidney Foundation, the designers, stylist, and artists will be invited to participate in the taping of a Public Service Announcement about the vision, mission, and work of the Foundation, which will air in several area markets.

  4. It is valid that we really do not know what we’ve received till we shed it, but it is also real that we do not know what we’ve been missing right until it arrives. Do you consider so? Posed By UGG Nightfall
