One of life’s best guilty pleasures is watching someone who needs a serious beatdown finally get what he’s got coming. I’m talking, of course, of Fox News personality Glenn Beck, the weepy, paranoid borderline psychotic and self-described political “rodeo clown” who makes a good living by pumping up the paranoia and scaring hell out of his audience of bitter, old, diaper-wearing shut-ins. In case you missed it last night, watch this:
| The Colbert Report | Mon – Thurs 11:30pm / 10:30c | |||
| The 10/31 Project | ||||

… and see one of Stephen Colbert’s masterpieces of satire as he tears Beck a new one in a performance that should win an Emmy of its own. Colbert spoofs the right-wing goof’s so-called 9/12 Project (Beck says he wants all of us to go back to feeling the way we did on 9-12-01), as well as Beck’s hypocrisy (9/11-mongering while slamming the terrorists’ victims’ families). Colbert’s evisceration of the sorry excuse for a political commentator made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside and I hope it does the same for you.
