Charlotte rock band Simplified is teaming up with ESPN for the network’s 2011 Kick-Off to College Football Weekend between Sept 1 and 5. Simplified’s single, “Shall We Begin,” from the band’s album Brighter Days will be featured in video montages throughout the long Labor Day weekend on ESPN and its sister networks in conjunction with the start of the 2011 college football season.

These dudes are old for the college scene. All the songs sound alike, so if you are into one beat and hearing it over and over, get checked for insanity. The last time I watched an old man with gray hair sing with the thrill the singer shows was Kenny Rogers. Kenny Rogers had more personality on stage than the singer. If I wanted to watch my dad cover Jack Johnson and Sublime I would stay home.

Sounds like you were so jealous about someone else’s success you googled them late night and drunk and found a couple places to leave silly comments. Maybe you should focus on some positive thing in life and learn to appreciate good things. Until then stay home and have your daddy entertain you. Completely agree with Wes and RT. The first comment sounds like a jealous musician who’s envious of other’s success. This band couldn’t be more stacked with talent. And if you had half a brain you’d realize that not only college students watch football… I bet Kenny Rogers does too, you idiot!
